Visiting Bulkex 2011

 

The largest exhibition of its kind in the Australasia region is moving to Sydney in 2011 !

The event is strategically placed to ensure that both domestic and international visitors develop and maintain strong business relationships with a growing number of exhibitors.


BULKEX 2011 is set to grow further this year with it’s much anticipated co-location with the well know Sydney Materials Handling Show and the Sydney Safety Show. The Sydney Materials Handling Show displays a wide range of material and manual handling equipment and training and the Sydney Safety Show will showcase the leading edge developments in safety solutions and injury prevention. With over 10,000 visitors and more than 16,000m2 of floor space, BULKEX 2011 will continue to grow and provide a strong platform for business generation and networking amongst your peers in the Bulk Materials and Powder Particulates Handling industry.

BULKEX 2011 will represent a wide range of industries including:

Organisers of BULKEX are also launching a dedicated conference featuring the crème of the academic and industrial worlds. “The conference will bring together Australia’s foremost practitioners of bulk materials handling,” said Tim Bostridge , General Manager. “The technical committee comprises Mark Jones and  Craig Wheeler of the University of Newcastle, as well as David Hastie and Peter Wypych of the University of Wollongong”.

Cost

 

Casual parking is available for $4 per hour or $20 per day maximum. Bring change for coin operated parking machines.

 

Taxi

 

Taxis are available from the taxi rank located at the rear of Sydney Olympic Park Train Station on Park Street.

 

Ferry

 

Sydney Ferries operates a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. The Parramatta River route departs Circular Quay, No. 5 Wharf.

Buses

 

Sydney Buses operates two daily full-time bus services to and from Sydney Olympic Park to the following locations:

  • Burwood Westfields
  • Strathfield Station
  • Newington
  • Rydalmere
  • University of Western Sydney (UWS), Nepean Campus Rydalmere
  • Parramatta Station
  • Lidcombe Station
  • Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf

Route 525 - Parramatta Station to Burwood Station via Olympic Park Station, Rydalmere, UWS Nepean Campus and Newington. Daily full-time service.

Route 401 - Lidcombe Station to Olympic Park Station via Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf and Newington. Daily full-time service

Trains

 

Train services operated by CityRail to and from Olympic Park Station:

  • Olympic Park Sprint operates between Lidcombe Station and Olympic Park Station at 20 minute intervals
  • Direct services between Central Station and Olympic Park Station weekdays only
