Conference Program

The Pit to Port Conference will be held alongside BULKEX 2011 on 25-26 October 2011 at the Pullman, Sydney Olympics Park

This two day conference is the perfect opportunity for delegates to focus on every step of the bulk commodities supply chain. From pit to port, the impact on all components of the mining and resources supply chain (rail, road, conveyors and port terminals), to examining the latest technologies in bulk handling.

Featuring the most topical case studies from pit to port and a review of infrastructure projects that support the mining boom.

PLUS: POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOP - Thursday 27 October 2011

Reliable and Sustainable Supply of Bulk Commodities for the Export Market

Our mining, minerals processing, transport and export infrastructure sectors are facing increasingly difficult challenges in the near future, such as ensuring reliability of supply (e.g. complex flow paths, bottlenecks, below-water-table mining) and sustainable development and operation (e.g. environmental emissions, social/cultural impacts, economics).

This workshop will demonstrate how advanced bulk handling technologies are being employed to meet market demands by ensuring reliable and sustainable supply of bulk commodities.
Workshop Leaders:

Bulk Materials Engineering Australia (BMEA):
Peter Arnold, Expert Adviser
Andrew Grima, R&D Manager
Peter Wypych, Founder and General Manager
