CHoPS:
6th International Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids

ICBMH:
10th International Conference on Bulk Materials Storage, Handling & Transportation

Highlights of the international conferences include:

An Opening Address from Professor Judy Raper, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), University of Wollongong
‘Integrating Scientific and Industry Communities’.

A Keynote Address from Professor Jim Litster, Purdue University, USA
‘Scaling Rules for High Shear Granulation: A Case Study for Pharmaceutical Granulation ‘.

A Keynote Address from Professor Gabriel Lodewijks, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands  who will discuss
‘The Environmental Impact of Transport Systems’.

A Keynote Address from Professor Alan Reed, University of Greenwich, UK who will talk about
‘Recent advances in bulk material handling - A UK perspecitive’.

A Keynote Address from Professor Jin Ooi, University of Edinburgh, Scotland examining
‘Discrete element modelling of particulate systems: From research to practice’.

Two interactive industry-scientific workshops will take place at these conferences:

  • The workshop on 'Pneumatic Conveying' will be run by Fred Rizk, formerly Senior Engineer with BASF, Germany. This will be held on 4th August.
  • The workshop on 'Wall Friction' will be run by Mike Bradley, Director/Manager and Consultant with the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, UK. This will be held on 6th August.
