Four large diesel lift trucks from Hyundai
Hyundai Forklifts Australia has released four new large diesel lift trucks with capacities from seven to 16 tonnes.
The new models - 100D, 120D, 135D and 160D-7 - are available through the brand’s exclusive local distributor, Flexilift Australia.
According to Flexilift, the machines’ Engine Control Module (ECM) instantly checks and analyses the condition of engines, allowing quick maintenance when required. The forklifts also have a wet braking system that provides responsive, durable braking power.
Stephen Ritchie, managing director of Flexilift Australia, said that because Hyundai lift trucks are brought into Australia on a just-in-time basis as they are purchased, customers are able to take advantage of the strength of the Australian dollar against the greenback.
“This is in contrast to any agents which have stockpiled equipment from months ago when the Australian dollar was much weaker,” he said.
Mr Ritchie went on to describe some of the benefits of the new machines:
“By utilising a mast tilting angle of 15º forward and 12º backward, an operator can perform loading and unloading jobs safely and rapidly,” he said.
“The unit can achieve 33.1% gradeability and a travel speed (unloaded) of 33.7km/h as it is powered by a high-output engine and can maintain these levels on most tough terrains or slopes.
“A hypoid type planetary reduction drive axle smoothly delivers desired torque to the drive wheels.
“With a wider view mast, any unit in the range can be operated with increased safety and accuracy. An easy-to-operate parking switch makes it possible to exert excellent parking power.
“An important source of comfort for operators is leg room, and these units afford a lot of this in a wide cabin room and easy access.
“Responsive operating control levers require only minimal operator effort for precise, safe and productive control (3-Lever Standard / 45-Lever option). Instrument panel switches are conveniently to the operator’s right console for easy operation.”
